Who is he?

N. Chandrababu Naidu, a 73-year-old former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is a prominent leader within the Telugu Desam Party.

Reason for Incarceration:

He stands accused of involvement in the Rs. 371 crore Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporate Scam and was apprehended on September 9.

Release on Bail:

After spending 53 days as an accused, he was granted interim bail for a period of 2 weeks. As part of his bail conditions, he paid a sum of 1 lakh rupees and provided two sureties. Additionally, he was prohibited from engaging in direct or indirect threats to other individuals and from participating in any political activities. He is also required to undergo cataract surgery on his right eye and submit the relevant medical report to the high court.He thanked all people for supporting him and for taking stand for him.

He had paid 1 lakh Rs along with 2 sureties for his bail.
